60 Minutes grouch Andy Rooney spoke at Tufts University last week. And, according to a Tufts Daily article, Rooney told his audience that Christian fundamentalism is a result of "a lack of education. They haven't been exposed to what the world has to offer."

        Apparently, Andy is unaware of the countless Christians who have traveled the world serving the poor and spreading the Good Word.

        The article continued,

Rooney said he also could not understand how "men who work with their hands voted for George Bush," and again attributing the phenomenon to a lack of education. (emphasis added)

        Ugh. Is it any wonder that CBS' ratings are in the tubes, in light of the facts that their on-air personalities are so out of touch?
