Piling On Bill O'Reilly?

Los Angeles Times gives more space to the Bill O'Reilly lawsuit than it did to the "Sandy" Berger burglary.

- October 24, 2004 -

Is the Los Angeles Times piling on Bill O'Reilly in the wake of his lawsuit for sexual harassment? Since the lawsuit surfaced on October 13, a search of the archive at latimes.com reveals that the story returns a total of 9 results about the suit.

To compare ... Back in mid-July, a story surfaced that former Clinton National Security Advisor "Sandy" Berger was being investigated for stealing documents from the National Archives. Amazingly, the Los Angeles Times has given more coverage to Bill O'Reilly's lawsuit than it ever did to the Berger story! A search of "Berger" at the archives of latimes.com yields a measly 7 results for the entire month of July.
