At Last! Falsely Accused Priests Fully Reinstated To Priesthood

Rev. David Glockner and Rev. William Nolan

Back where they belong! Rev. David Glockner (l) and Rev. William Nolan (r)

In a world which is currently in short supply of good news, we are happy to report that two falsely accused priests have now been finally reinstated to the priesthood after being fully cleared by both civil and Church authorities.

The Diocese of Madison has fully reinstated Rev. William Nolan after a thorough investigation by its Diocesan Sexual Abuse Review Board unanimously determined that the claims against Fr. Nolan were bogus.

As we reported last fall, a jury in Wisconsin swiftly acquitted Nolan after a 26-year-old accuser made the astonishing claim that the priest had abused him well over a 100 times as recently as a decade ago! (Note: There is no accusation too crazy nowadays for a publicity-seeking prosecutor to bring as long as the accused is a Catholic priest.)

To say the least, there was a multitude of glaring inconsistencies in the accuser's crazy story, and accuser had obviously not been abused. Now the diocese has concurred with the jury that Fr. Nolan is completely innocent.

Separately, the order of the Glenmary Home Missioners has announced that it is fully restoring Rev. David Glockner after both civil and independent investigations determined that that Glockner was completely innocent of similar phony charges.

Last August, Glockner was ripped from ministry after two girls "volunteering on a construction site" accused Glockner of "inappropriately touching" them.

However, last September, a grand jury in Kentucky found the girls' claims to be so incredible that it declined to even indict Glockner. Think about that. Grand juries indict almost everyone brought before them.

Now, months later, after an independent investigation commissioned by his order, Rev. Glockner has been completely exonerated.

Kudos to both of these priests. But don't look for any real justice here. Nothing will happen to these three accusers for making up their phony stories and ruining these men's reputations forever. The accused are permitted to make their accusations anonymously, and all they ever lose is the chance to get rich.

How many other innocent priests are not as lucky as these two guys?

    • Dan says:

Frank, Did we not see this BS coming? You cherry pick a few cases, as if that means there are so many more innocent priests and bishops out there. The guilty far outnumber any innocent clergy and that should be the major concern for your church, but instead you try to hide your filth, make excuses and minimize your sins. As Christ nailed you catholics -

"You blind guides, You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence." Matthew 23:24-25

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and every impurity. Matthew 23:27

So open your blind eyes and look at the pomp and circumstance of your church, dressed in their fine robes of satin and lace, meticulously cleaning their cups and folding their linens, hiding behind their filthy lucre as if God or His chosen won't notice their nastiness.

Building their exorbitant temples, filled with their idolatries, while in reality only a facade or front to what is their true worship of the dead and creepy catachombs of darkness.

Wake up catholics and run from this wolf in sheep's clothing!  servant of the Lord

Praise the Lord, these holy men have apparently defeated the Bolshevik commissars!!! It’s wonderful to see! Let’s hope it’s a trend. Also lets pray to the Lord to have mercy on the lying accusers, and people like dan, to not get the corona.
Pax and love to all in this trying time. Try to look in on your neighbors, even if they are anti catholic haters, remember, we must forgive 7 x 70. Let’s bring back Dan into the fold!

  3. Dan says:

Actually Clown, I prefer Becks or ShockTop to Corona. Better price and more taste. Before you guys judge me, I drink one beer with lunch and one with dinner.

Seriously though, have you given some thought to the countries most affected or could there possibly be some connection or punishment from the Almighty?

Let's see? The church makes a deal with the devil and signs an agreement with China to partner and accept communism, as some sort of protection arrangement. God possibly fed up with the paganism and partnering with evil, decides He's had enough and pours out one of His Bowls of Wrath on the world. Just saying or asking if this is a possibility or coicidence?

Countries most affected in descending order – 1 Communist China, 2 Pagan catholic Italy, 3 Terrorist Iran, 4 Heathen catholic Spain, 5 Republic of Korea ( Italy on course to pass China's number of deaths, though its cases are only about 1/3).

Wouldn't be a bad time for any of us to seriously look at our beliefs, faith or trust in the only God and His Son, the one and only mediator. Are we living in denial, as we put our faith, hope and love in other gods or goddesses, in our wealth or in our lusts? Might be a real good time to assess where we truly stand with the Almighty and stop thinking that He doesn't know what we have hidden in our closets. Come out from the darkness and let His light shine on our lives before it is way too late. Read, listen and try to obey HIs Word. Be not fooled, "a person shall reap what he sows".

Aside from rejoicing at this good news, I can’t help but wonder if Dan Frondorf from SNAP will publicly apologize to Father Glockner for calling him a “bad guy priest” and pass judgement even before a formal investigation was launched, instead of plaudit the Diocese of Covington for their quick response to the allegations.

If you want to find out how this happens take a look at a CNN option piece on confirmation bias. The piece deals with the Richard Jewel case which is the subject of recent movie by Clint Eastwood. The press and law enforcement destroyed Mr. Jewel s life. The author of te piece is former FBI agent who is now a CNN commentator. He was directly involved in the case. He writes about confirmation bias was a major factor in the Jewel case. He writes that law enforcement including the FBI did not learn anything from the Jewel case. Stated simply confirmation bias is a pre existing bias that law enforcement and prosecutors hold. In these situations the bias is that a Catholic priest must be a sex offender of some kind. They start with this belief and build their case around it. If you have time look at CNN opinion piece about confirmation bias.  I attended much of Father Nolsns trial and can say the jury got it exactly. The media coverage was extremely bias with no concerns expressed about how could this happen. The one exception was a small local newspaper. They found a juror after the trial and asked him about. The response was that there was no evidence against Fr. Nolan. The accuser was described as a habitual liar or compulsive liar. Thanks for reading!

To offset the negativity of some posters:

“Italian priest, 72, dies after giving a respirator his parishioners bought for him to a younger patient. Giuseppe Berardelli, 72, priest from Italy's hard-hit north, died from coronavirus. He had a respirator that was bought for him by concerned parishioners, but gave it to a younger patient who he didn't know”.

St. Paul reminds us in Romans 8:28: “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them”.

As Trent Horn from Catholic.com summarizes, “Therefore, we should use this time of communal trial as well as the “personal disasters” that afflict most people to draw near to God. We should repent of any sin that keeps us apart from God and seek communion with him, even if it is through a prayer of spiritual communion and worshiping with the assistance of something like an online video stream of the Mass. And we should extend Christ’s mercy and kindness to the many people who are in need right now and may be suffering physically, emotionally, and economically”.

Have a blessed day, everyone, and be safe.

    • People's Clown says:

Maybe the good Father will be canonized.

    • Dan says:

      LLC,

You make sure you take your childish shot at me, and then add your singular church deed as if your whole church, including yourself, is jam packed full of wonderful people and martyrs. The priest makes a great sacrifice and its plastered across media and the net around the world. I don't see any of you Cathys complaining or blaming the media when the news stories are in your favor. I'm surprised there isnt a photo shoot with him putting the mask on the person. Let's see what Christ thinks about this act, verses Julie apparently ignored.

"All their deeds are done for men to see." Matthew 23:5

"Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do you will have no reward from your Father in heaven." Matthew 6:1

"But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret." Matthew 6:3-4

So before you brag about others deeds and all your catholic goodness, deeds which by the way are set up by the Lord, maybe you might want to let God decide if it could have been done anonymously, and then God can give His just reward. And quit thinking the little good done by your clan, or priests vindicated because they were falsely accused, can ever offset the many horrific sins of the hierarchy of your church. That's period! Plain disgusting! Period! You think otherwise then you may want to see a psychiatrist.

P.S. If your church wasn't so full of "negativity" and so Spiritually lacking and Biblically inept, then I would have little or nothing to say.

      Dan,

Have a blessed week, negative non-Christian brother, and be safe.

  7. Dan says:

Popes prayer to Mary during Coronavirus Pandemic -

"O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus' pain, keeping your faith firm. You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need and we are sure you will provide … "

Peter speaking of Christ, "He is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone. Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:11-12

    • Dan says:

Church Militant article, "Keeping Balanced", March 30, 2020.

Even Worse, Church Militant claims, "In fact, without the Catholic Church, salvation would not be possible at all." This statement is absolutely ludicrous and shows how poor unbiblical teaching can lead followers to competely misunderstand God, Christ and His Word.

This nonsense comes from catholics who have hope for the church, wishes to see it prosper and grow, and attacks the hierarchy with accusations that make me look like a saint. Ought to make any catholic think about their beliefs and seriously question their hierarchy. Sad to see such a large group of brainwashed puppets, who buy anything they're told without question.

    March 29, 2020

Pope mass today – His homily was based on the story of Susanna, discussing how corrupt judges bore false witness against an innocent faithful woman. Is the pope totally unaware of the hypocrisy of his message, as bishops and priests, nuns, deacons, laity and thugs of the church have no problem bearing "false witness" with their vicious lies against innocent children and victims by his cult of hypocrites? Answer me that question, catholics.
